Today was the coaches bible study at Hiram High School. I have been teaching this now for two weeks and I am still amazed at how God opening up opportunities for me in the school system. I was asked near the end of the football season to be the chaplain for the football team. What an awesome opportunity to be in the locker room and get to speak before the games, and also be on the sidelines. Today I was talking to an FCA representative for Paulding and they asked if I wanted to become the chaplain of the wrestling team as well! You can’t plan stuff like this. It used to seem like getting into the schools was like trying to get into Fort Knox, but God has really opened up the doors for us and I can’t wait to see what He has in store!

People told me many, many times that this little baby girl would change my life. Well, I will confirm that.  She is amazing and has changed my life for the better! I just watch her sleep and think how much of a miracle she is. Just think, she was fearfully and wonderfully made by the same God that created this world we live in and the vast heavens that we still can’t even understand…wow! You know the cool thing…YOU were too. Don’t become hardened to the basics, because if you truly understand them, they will still blow your mind!

As you can see some things changed.  I want you to check back daily to keep up with what’s going on around here.

The current series we are in is “Unthinkable”.  It is a series I heard Louie Giglio do, and I wanted to share it with my students.  The whole series is about one thing, and that is awakening.  Living awake to how unthinkable we are, and God is.  Sometimes we are in church so long that we become hardened to how awesome and unthinkable God is.  Think about how we are made by the hand of the creator of the heavens and the earth.  And that same God is pursuing a relationship with us!  Revelation 3:20 tells us that He is pursuing us!  He is knocking on our door.  Shouldn’t it be the other way around?  Shouldn’t we be knocking on the door of God’s heart just begging to have some sort of relationship with Him?

This Sunday night we are going to finish up the series with “Unthinkable Rescue”.  It is going to be awesome and I can’t wait to talk about something that I am so passionate about…how I was rescued.
