Steps to Christ
Jesus answered, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6
1. God loves you and created you to know him personally
"God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16
The Bible says ... "We can have real peace with God because of what Jesus has done for us." Romans 5:1
2. However
Man is sinful and separated from God. So we cannot know Him personally or experience His love and peace in our lives.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
"The wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23
3. Christ has bridged the way
"God is on one side and all the people on the other side. And Christ Jesus, Himself man, is between them to bring them together." 1 Timothy 2:5
4. It's Our Choice
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us of our sins." John 1:9
Be willing to turn from your sins (repent).
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become Children of God even those who believed in His name." John 1:12
"You must invite." Rev 3:20
Pray: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Savior. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
